DAWN OF MAN (PRINT)

£175.00

‘DAWN OF MAN’ Long exposure limited edition print (25) for the duration of the Dawn of Man sequence from the 2001 Space Odyssey Movie. Printed on C-Type Kodak Metallic paper. 55cm x 28cm approx.

Additional info:

There are so many scenes in 2001 that are exceptional. The appearance overnight of the obsidian monolith being one of them. It lent itself to the format really well as the rocks are so anchored as is the obelisk and the primates have become dark , blurred shadows. I love the lyrical sunrise heralding the dawn of man. The cinematography of Stanley Kubrick coupled with an amazing soundtrack set the template for so many other films.
